Insurance

Every full-time student enrolled at ÐÜèÔÚÏßÊÓƵ is required to carry health insurance. We have partnered with Wellfleet Insurance Group to assist in managing the requirement and enrollment in the ÐÜèÔÚÏßÊÓƵ Student Health Insurance Plan. This process is coordinated by ÐÜèÔÚÏßÊÓƵ Business Services (businesservices@hope.edu). You may contact them directly with any questions or concerns.

Students who do not waive the plan by providing proof of existing health insurance coverage will be automatically enrolled in the college plan, and the health insurance charge will be billed to each student’s account.

You have two options outlined below:

1. Waive

If you have existing health insurance coverage, you can waive the ÐÜèÔÚÏßÊÓƵ Student Health Insurance Plan.

Submitting an Insurance Waiver

2. Upload a copy of your current health insurance ID card.
3. Save your confirmation number for future reference.
4. Waiver requests will be reviewed by Wellfleet within 3 business days.
5. If approved, you will receive an email confirmation and the charge on your student account will be removed within another 5–7 business days.
6. If denied, another email will include additional instructions. The charge will remain on the student account until an approved waiver has been received.

2. Enroll

Interested students can select to enroll in the ÐÜèÔÚÏßÊÓƵ student health insurance plan. Students who do not waive the plan will be enrolled and the health insurance charge will be automatically billed to each student’s account.

The deadline to waive or confirm health insurance coverage is Friday, September 29, 2024. If you do not waive the plan by September 29, 2024, the charge of $1,954 will remain on the student account.
