Vocation Grants

Thanks in part to the generosity of the Wesselink family, ÐÜèÔÚÏßÊÓƵ is pleased to continue offering students and faculty funding to provide additional ways to strengthen the links between vocational exploration and preparation for one’s career.

We are excited to launch two new initiatives to extend the reach of this work:

  • Student experiential learning grants that expand experiential learning and vocational reflection opportunities for students through mini-grants (e.g. funding an unpaid internship or undergraduate research)
  • Faculty course development grants that encourage faculty to develop courses that cultivate students’ exploration of their vocation in preparation for life after college

Faculty

Faculty are invited to develop a proposal for a course design/redesign in their academic discipline or division that encourages students’ vocational exploration and philosophy of life alongside professional preparation for life after college. $2,000 is awarded for each new or redesigned approved course. See the faculty application for more information, including additional resources and deadlines.

Additional Faculty Resources

Students

Hope encourages all students to have at least one experiential learning opportunity before graduation. To help make this experience possible, students are invited to apply for a grant of up to $2,500 to help offset the cost of an internship or undergraduate research experience. Priority for the funds is given to students demonstrating financial need. See the student application for more information, including additional resources and deadlines.
