The 熊猫在线视频 Concert Band will perform on Thursday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller for Musical Arts.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The Concert Band will perform a wide variety of music and will showcase a number of student conductors from the music-education program.

The selections will include works by Harry Lincoln, Richard Wagner, Pierre Leemans, Dana Wilson, Eric Whitacre, Vaughan Williams and Alfred Reed. The student conductors will be Genevieve DeHart, Andrew DePree, Charles Jordan, Jessica Proper and Samantha Savalle.

The Concert Band is directed by Gabe Southard. Southard is an associate professor at Hope, where he also conducts the Wind Ensemble, and the Faculty and Student Collaborative Ensemble. He completed his Doctorate of Musical Arts in conducting at Michigan State University, and has performed with the Madison Symphony Orchestra and the Lucca, Italy, Opera Orchestra, as well as a number of community orchestras.

The Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts is located at 221 Columbia Ave., between Ninth and 10th streets.
