Dr. Logan Wigglesworth
Visiting Assistant Professor of PhilosophyLogan Wigglesworth joined Hope鈥檚 philosophy department in fall 2024 as a visiting assistant professor. He is interested in ethics, philosophy of emotion and aesthetics. Much of his interest is sparked by discussion with artists and arts faculty.

Logan asks questions like, 鈥淲hat is the role of emotion in moral understanding?鈥 鈥淲hat is the nature of emotions?鈥 鈥淲hat norms govern our engagements with specific artworks and genres?鈥 He is currently writing on the aesthetics of contemporary worship music and how such music might cultivate virtue. 鈥淗ow does God ground aesthetic value?鈥 He is also currently writing on how God might ground aesthetic value specifically in a fitting-attitude analysis of value.
