Why Do You Love Hope?

Margo loves the people at ÐÜèÔÚÏßÊÓƵ. Every day, she shares her space with smart and fun students and co-workers. It is a joy for her to be a part of ÐÜèÔÚÏßÊÓƵ.

 Outside the College

When not at ÐÜèÔÚÏßÊÓƵ, Margo enjoys spending time with her family and cats. It is a big group, as she and her husband have five children between them who are all adults living and learning all over the U.S. In her spare time, she is getting her hands dirty in the garden, putting together a puzzle or doing a home improvement project.

She also enjoys the theater. It was at the age of six when Margo was bitten by the theatre bug, playing her first part as Doc in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. She got to lead the line! Margo has been in many productions in the Midwest as an actor, director, prop mistress, costumer, producer and even once as a sound designer. She directed local productions of A Piece of My Heart, Momologues, Monster in the Closet, Seussical the Musical and Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr., as well as directing, performing in and working behind the scenes for many other shows at theatres in Illinois, Ohio and Michigan. Favorite onstage roles include: Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol, Ann in 1940’s Radio Hour and Jacqueline in Don’t Dress for Dinner.
