Why I love Hope
Hope is home to Kate. She has never felt more comfortable and welcomed in any other place. Kate feels Hope is full of faithful, intelligent, warm-hearted people who make this an amazing place for her to work and live. She met her husband and her best friends here, and it holds some of her favorite memories.
Hope's connection to the Holland community and the support it receives from its neighbors is a fun experience for Kate. She finds Hope’s campus and the Holland area to be breathtakingly beautiful.
Outside the college
Kate loves running, cooking, searching for doughnuts and soaking up time with her son and daughter. She is also in a near constant inner-debate over the choice to include or omit the Oxford Comma. Her life goal is to visit the grave of every American president, which has inspired a lot of travel around the country.
