Before his academic career blossomed, Dr. Johnson was a high-school dropout, skinhead, punk rock drummer, pizza delivery specialist, Air Force radar repairman, IT supervisor and pastor. These days, he loves walking with his wife, traveling to visit his adult children and getting a daily dose of Seinfeld.
