Washington Honors Semester combines the intimacy of the Hope classroom with exhilaration of one of the most globally engaged cities in the world.
This exciting, engaging and formative semester is an experiential education program that brings students to the nation’s capital with a Hope faculty member.
Since 1976, the program has helped students uncover their vocational calling through blended internship experiences and course work. Students can take in the vibrancy of the nation’s capital while interning for 32 hours per week, taking seminars and engaging in important policy conversations with major stakeholders across D.C.
The Washington Honors Semester has a proven track record of placing qualified students in prestigious internships at such places as the White House, National Museum of Art, World Bank, American Bar Association and Naval Medical Research Center.
